iMovie Reflection
In term 2 I learned a lot of techniques using the camera.We learned how to ghost, macro, and to do manual focus. In ghosting we needed to change the aperture setting and needed to play around with the camera. For most of the techniques we did were all about playing with the camera and how to be creative with it. I also learned how to edit in Photoshop using the Andy Warhol technique. The Andy Warhol technique is basically making our photos look cartoon-like and add bright colours to them to make them stand out.We also had to make a video about our school which was a bit stressful but we managed to finish it. I learned how to use iMovie and transition the videos together make it fit.
For the next term i would like to play more around Photoshop and learn more techniques with the camera. Maybe work on the yearbook more and take more memorable pictures for the yearbook. So when people go back to see it when they are older they will remember the time they had in Sargent Park.

During the time when we were during the video it was really stressful because i didn't know what to do. So when I finally found what i was going to do i just freestyled the editing of the video. Editing the video wasn't so bad but I wasn't use to iMovie but as days passed i gradually got use to it and finally knew what to do. Getting the footage were very unorganized since we didn't know what to do we just took random footages and probably most of them we didn't use. Next time I think we should plan which people are going to do this and that to get the footage so the would have an idea what the should do. I also think that when theres people that aren't doing anything i think they should try and organize people. Maybe if they conversated with others and asked what they were doing maybe all the footages could have flowed. Having a theme is also a great idea of having a flow in the video if we had a song we could have listened to the videos would flow in the song together. I've made collaborations with other people when editing, we used a song as a base to know what to do. So next time we do a group project like this, lets make it flow. Also for people who didn't do anything for editing you tried to get footages for us. So Thanks anyways~

This is all where it starts, the base of the tree. The first thing you need to do when you decorate a tree.
The branch of the tree is an important part. Its where you will hang the ornaments.
Branches hold the lights and ornaments.
Ornaments could be any shape or sizes, they make the tree more joyful.
The ornaments decorate the tree to make it more exciting.
Angels made the tree more festive and fun, to celebrate the lord’s birth.
The star guided led Mary and Joseph to the place they needed to go. ( Bible story )
The lights topped everything together. Without the light it would have been incomplete.
Snowflakes fall and make a white Christmas.Families gather up together around the Christmas tree.
Since, I couldn't make a real snowman out of snow outside ( because it was cold ) I drew a snowman.
Santa comes around midnight to give presents to good children.
Lights are all around, it makes Christmas more joyful and fun. Without light, everything would be dark and gloomy.

I think iMovie was fun, it was kind of hard to find things out. I've never worked with iMovie in the past so, it was hard to put fonts and such. Working with iMovie was overwhelming because of the different things that I have worked with before. On iMovie I didn't know how to overlay a font into a video who already has a font.
The steps that we did to make the video were:
1. We put the pictures that we had into iMovie
2. We put the pictures in order.
3. Then we added in traditions
4. We put our audio in.
5. We edited the audio length and the pictures
