Lizley's Photo Essay

Art is all about expression and experience. It is how you interpret your feelings and expression. It is how you deliver your experience of feelings to other people.

Artists have different views of art and express their thoughts and feelings. They do abstract or realistic but what matter is the message. It could be joy, beauty, mystery and darkness or some scene meaningful to you or you think is meaningful.

It doesn't really matter how much brushes you have and how good are they.

And how old or new your brushes are

Nor how many good paints you use.

It doesn't matter how good your hand could draw. Or how beautiful your artwork is.

But the way you express it.

And the reason why you use it.

And to fill your world with colors.

You don't have to wait for somebody to teach you. Inspirations come by to you everyday. So measure your limits and find out what you can do.

The time is running but it's never too late to share your thoughts

And to find inspiration.

Hannah's Photo Essay

This picture shows what I see when I wake up every morning, a blue background with white snowflakes.

This is what my bed looks like when I’m not feeling lazy and decided to clean
it.

This shows that I’m going downstairs to eat breakfast with my family.

On the way to breakfast I take a look at our Christmas presents under the tree.

And for breakfast I guess were having milk

with chocolate croissants

After breakfast I go to the basement and use the computer, until...

my mom tells me to fold the laundry

while folding I watch some TV

These are the color pencils I used to help my sister with her art homework.

Then after that I take a bath and get dressed for the rest of the day.

I read some books,

Drew a picture from the internet,

and played my guitar

I did all the songs I knew and practiced for my test with Ms. Almeida

After that I played Jenga with my sisters

And we went outside to...

build a snowman

Well that’s my day. It’s a good thing I didn’t have homework!

My Photo Essay is about what goes on in my life.

I woke up and looked outside the window. The clouds were so pretty I just wanted to take a picture of them.

This is a picture of a street near my house. the snow looks really nice, soft and pristine. I took this picture because this shows the beauty of winter.

This is Sargent Avenue. I took this picture because I walk this street almost every day going from home to school and back.

I walked past this car covered in snow. I took this picture because this is winter in Canada.

Spring and Fall here in Canada. is very fun as well. Much rain, lots of puddles.

My friends and I love food, especially sweets.This is a cake from a bakery near school. I took this picture because this cake was especially yummy.

Beautiful sunset, I took this picture while on the bridge coming back from my little cousin’s birthday party.

My friends and I go “shopping” to Polo Park sometimes. When I say “shopping”, I mean not actually buying anything but just looking around. This is a mannequin at Forever21.

Just another building. It looked really nice with the sunset that is not in frame. This is near Polo Park where I just went shopping for Christmas presents for my friends.

This is poster of one of my favorite animes, “Fairy Tail”. My friend gave it to me from the Philippines. Around it are some owls I made myself, I like owls.

This is my super decorated lamp in my room. On it are pins, Sargent Park wristbands, ribbons, a mockingjay pin and a pocket watch necklace. behind it on the wall are some of my sticky notes.
